Scottish Junior Cup Final

On Saturday just passed (23rd April 2016) Pollock Football club (FC) defeated Hurlford Utd 4-3 on penalties after extra time to reach their first Scottish Junior Cup Final in 18 years.

Pollock have reached 5 Junior Cup Finals winning three of them and will play Beith Juniors who have reached the Scottish Junior Cup final for the first time, so a historic moment for both the competition and these two clubs.

The ETHX Scottish Junior Cup Final will be played on Sunday the 29th of May 2016 at Kilmarnock FC’s ground Rugby Park, kick-off 4:05-5:50pm unless extra time followed by penalties are required.

Win or lose both teams should celebrate the fact they have reached the final of this prestigious competition. The winner of which will enter the first round of the Scottish Cup playing senior teams.

Beith already have one victory as both themselves and Pollock FC wear Black and white strips as their home kits. Through the toss of a coin, Beith won the right to play in their home kit with Pollock wearing their away kit of all black with tinges of red.
